Welcome

We're an incorporated forestry consulting company that works for you, the landowner, to assist you in getting the highest return out of your land.  From timber sales to wildlife habitat improvement, we help landowners acheive the hopes and dreams they have for their property.  But we don't just stop there. We also provide multiple services to private landowners and companies that need services like third party timber valuation, timber volume inventory, prescribed burning, ground herbicide application, and GPS data acquisition.

Time and time again landowners sell timber to unqualified or unethical  timber buyers or "foresters", without realizing the degree of professionalism that is missing in the transaction.  If a potential buyer operates with economics rather than ethics first in mind, the landowner will likely never receive the capital gains that their timber is actually worth.  This is very, very common.

Growing timber is such a long process, and you may only sell the timber off your land once or twice in your lifetime.  To  ensure that this important decision runs as smoothly and with as much all around benefit as possible, you need the direction of a professional, well-qualified forester.  We are qualified to do just that.

We provide services in the following areas but will usually extend our range to other states across the southeast for large acreage cruises or prescribed burns:

  • Northeast Texas
  • Eastern Oklahoma
  • Northwest Louisiana

What is a real forester?

Real foresters are professionals engaged in the science and profession of forestry, which have at the least, a Bachelors of Science in Forestry from an accredited college or university. They should not buy timber, and they are taught that ethics should be the most important objective in their occupation. Real foresters are licensed, certified, or registered with their state and with certifying bodies, such as Society of American Foresters or The Association of Consulting Foresters.
